Dr. Jesse Robinson grew up in Walpole, New Hampshire, a small, rural
town on the Connecticut River. As a child he was quite an animal
lover, spending time with his pet dogs, cats, and rabbits. He also
helped care for the horses, sheep and goats at the orchard his
father managed and the cows at his neighbor's dairy.
Dr. Robinson left New England to attend the
University of Virginia, receiving a degree in Computer Science in
2003. After graduation he soon found that working in an office
didn't suit him very well. He moved to Portland, Maine, where he
worked in construction and few other odd jobs before starting as a
technician at a veterinary clinic. Dr. Robinson knew right away
that a career in veterinary medicine would be a great fit for him.
Dr. Robinson went back to school at the
University of Southern Maine to complete additional undergraduate
biology requirements needed for veterinary school. After working
and attending classes for two years, he applied to veterinary school
and was accepted at the University of Pennsylvania. Since
graduating in 2014, Dr. Robinson has been practicing large-animal
medicine in Pennsylvania.
He lives in Lancaster and is interested in
advanced dairy reproductive techniques and small ruminant medicine.
When he’s not working, Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with his
girlfriend, Megan, and their two dogs, a Boston Terrier and a Dutch
